Poll Finds Nearly Half of U.S. Muslims Hold a Positive View of Hamas

Nearly half of the rapidly growing Muslim population in the United States has a favorable opinion of the terrorist group Hamas, according to a stunning new survey.
According to the Pew Research Center poll, a staggering 44% of Muslim Americans expressed a favorable opinion of Hamas. The view is out of step with Americans overall, with an overwhelming 84% of the broader American public viewing the jihadist group negatively.

The poll comes as Muslims have gained political power, with New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani becoming one of the most prominent Democrats in the United States. In Michigan, a state where Muslim populations have become the majority in certain pockets such as Dearborn, Democrat Abdul El-Sayed is the favorite to be the party’s nominee for U.S. Senate.
Both candidates are harsh critics of Israel, where the terrorist group Hamas operates. The poll drops alongside a mountain of sickening evidence exposing the subhuman savagery unleashed by the terror group upon innocent hostages. Since the October 7, 2023 massacre, captives dragged into the dark labyrinth of Gaza had been subjected to a calculated campaign of psychological and physical destruction.

Tennessee tax dollars are funding the growth and expansion of Muslim private schools through the voucher “scholarships” that provide over $7300 in tuition for children attending such schools. Concerns about funding schools promoting Islam in Tennessee have been expressed from the outset of the program.

Specifically, the curriculum at Muslim schools in Tennessee, and the likelihood that Sharia law is being promoted, is a focus of concern for many

There are several Muslim schools in Tennessee receiving vouchers. Nashville international Academy has about 200 students. Pleasant View in Memphis has an enrollment of about 400.

Texas attempted to prevent voucher payments from supporting about a dozen Muslim schools that the state believed had ties to terror supporting groups.

Some Christian private schools were also initially denied the funds.

Ultimately, the state backed off in the face of legal challenges and voucher payments were approved for accredited schools that met the state requirements.

Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles generated controversy over his recent comments about Islam being inconsistent with American values. House Speaker Mike Johnson criticized Ogles’ comments, and drew a distinction between Muslims and Islamists.

Frank Gaffney, a national security expert has launched Operation Bayonet to oppose the expansion of Sharia law in the U.S. The effort is calling on candidates and elected officials throughout the country to pledge to oppose Sharia law being implemented at any level in the country. Gaffney spoke at the Maury County Reagan Dinner on Saturday and detailed the threat that Sharia poses and the actions he is encouraging to stop it.
