Ogles and Blackburn Introduce Bill to Lock Up ICE Doxxers

Congressman Andy Ogles (TN-5) has  introduced the “Protecting Law Enforcement from Doxxing Act,” legislation that would make it a federal crime to maliciously publish the personal information of ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers in ways that put them at risk of targeted harassment, assault, and murder. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is co-leading this effort in the Senate.

“Attacks on ICE officers are up over 800% this year. Any unmasking of these patriots by blue-city mayors and Marxist agitators must be met with swift and severe punishment,” said Congressman Ogles.

“Let’s not forget that the sitting mayor of Nashville published a live chart exposing classified Homeland Security officers’ names and locations. This reckless act not only endangered federal operations but could have gotten someone killed. My message to the doxxers is simple: every illegal alien will be deported, and every ICE agent will be fiercely defended by the law. Stand in their way, and you’ll stand before a judge,” Congressman Ogles said.

Senator Marsha Blackburn said, “Radical leftists are doing everything they can to obstruct the Trump administration’s efforts to deport criminal illegal aliens and enforce the rule of law,” said Senator Blackburn.

“The Protecting Law Enforcement from Doxxing Act would make it illegal to dox federal law enforcement and hold blue city mayors accountable for obstructing enforcement of our immigration laws and putting law enforcement officers in harm’s way.”
