John Rose is launching his much-awaited ad campaign for Tennessee governor with a statewide media push. The new ad is Rose’s first in a series of commercials that will run across Tennessee, according to his campaign. Tough like Trump focuses on Rose’s experience as a CEO who grew two thriving companies. The ad also highlights the candidate’s faith, his family, and his farming background.

John Rose: “I’ve grown a lot of things in my career. As a CEO, I grew two great companies. And out here, I’ve grown a lot of crops.”
Chelsea Rose: “Now he’s growing a movement to be Tennessee’s next governor.”
John Rose: “I’m John Rose — a father, a farmer, and a CEO.”
Chelsea Rose: “We need a Governor with CEO experience, someone tough like Trump.”
John Rose: “Well, there’s only one of those in this race. I’m John Rose and I’m applying for the job.”

Rose is currently traveling the state on his Tennessee True Tour where he is conducting a series of townhall events and working alongside Tennesseans to learn about their everyday concerns.
Since entering the race last March, Rose has traveled to all 95 counties, earning support from Tennesseans in every region of the state. As a lifelong farmer and former Commissioner of Agriculture, Rose has grounded his campaign in what he calls “Tennessee Values” — faith, family, and freedom — while pledging to grow the economy, protect constitutional freedoms, defend the unborn, and make critical investments in schools, infrastructure, and healthcare.
