Vanderbilt College Republicans Dispensed Needed Relief Around Nashville on Friday

Vanderbilt College Republicans visited some warming shelters and a few hotels around Nashville on Friday sharing smiles, good will and fun to some of the thousands currently in impromptu “Snow Camp!” Accompanied by the Commodore mascot, and led by President RaeAnn Morales, the young Republicans stopped by the warming center at the Nashville fairgrounds, Vanderbilt recreation center, Hayes Hotel, and Courtyard West End Hotel and delivered coloring books, crayons, and card games to kids and adults.

With the various “Snow Camps” at local hotels and warming centers likely to remain active well into next week as NES predicts the power outages to continue, hopefully other groups and organizations will follow the lead of the Vanderbilt College Republicans.
