Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association Concerned About Trump Plans to Import Argentinian Beef

The TCA has issued a statement regarding President Trump’s comments on Argentinian beef:

“The Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association is extremely concerned by the idea of bringing in more Argentinian beef to influence beef prices. Tennessee farmers need certainty and President Trump’s comments have unfortunately created chaos in the cattle market. Tennessee cattle producers are proud of the beef we provide to our state and the nation, and we hope the President stands with us over Argentinian beef.” – Gary Dering, TCA President

The U.S. Cattlemen’s Association has sent a letter to President Trump urging him to protect American beef producers. https://uscattlemen.org/usca-sends-letter-to-president-trump-on-argentina-beef-imports/  Not surprisingly, US ranchers are very concerned about the plan.
