As noted yesterday, the Democrat candidate for county mayor in Hamilton County made threats against school board members as part of his unhinged promotion of the LGBTQ in Hamilton County schools.
The Democrat standard bearer acknowledged a “poor choice of words” in calling for a school board members to be lynched and called the controversy over his threats “silly.”
Today, both the Chattanooga Times and Times Free Press published editorials with one calling outMark Herndon’s actions as beyond “silly” and the much more liberal Times simply saying he made a “mistake,” and somehow justified it by promoting the paper’s LGBTQ agenda.
Herndon is unlikely to win, but conservative Chattanooga voters risk real disappointment in the years ahead if they fail to turn out in big numbers for the August 6 primary and local general elections. Lethargy could lead to waking up to a nightmare on August 7.
KNOX COUNTY DEM MAYOR CANDIDATE MARCHED FOR MADURO IN VENEZUELA!?!?
t is increasingly clear that not all the radical socialist Democrats are in places like New York City. Many have either gravitated to Tennessee or have simply fully embraced the failed policies of the Left and seek to impose them on the Volunteer State. Another good example comes from Knoxville, where the Democrat candidate for Knox County Mayor has been exposed as a fan of former Venezuelan Dictator, and indicted cartel leader, Nicholas Maduro.

Beau Hawk (that’s really his name) the Democratic nominee for Knox County mayor, marched in Caracas in support of former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in 2020, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Hawk posed for photographs with other demonstrators and is quoted in an article by the Venezuelan Orinoco Tribune, an outlet that “aims to offer a counter-narrative to mainstream media and promote alternative voices and perspectives on the region, while challenging dominant narratives about Venezuela with an anti-imperialist perspective.”
“I saw thousands of working people celebrating their revolution. From now on, when I hear Trump’s lies about the Bolivarian Revolution, I will always remember the people in the march smiling, holding up the Bolivarian flag, and fighting to defend their revolution,”
Hawk, was quoted as saying while posing with anti-Trump signs and the revolutionary Bolivarian flag.

Socialist birds of a feather do flock together, even when in Tennessee.
WATTS UP IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY!?!? Meanwhile, in Rutherford County Cathy Watts, Democrat running for County Commission, wants to assure voters of her pro-abortion, love of gay pride month, hatred of Trump and support for the chaotic and confrontational protests at the legislature in early May, which she enthusiastically joined! Her positions on lowering property taxes, improving schools, funding police and promoting a safe secure community, and filling potholes, the more critical and mundane duties of actual local officials, are much less defined by Watts. But certainly in keeping with the whacked out agenda promoted by the Democrats.
