Report: Music Row Buyer Expands Holdings With $10M Property Acquisition

Earlier today, the Nashville Business Journal reported that the investment group behind a recent $50 million purchase of Nashville’s Edgehill Village has expanded its footprint in the Music Row area with another significant deal.

According to Metro records, TMEC Nashville Inc. paid $10 million for six additional parcels near the Edgehill Village retail and dining hub. The newly acquired properties, located at 1202, 1204, 1206, 1208, and 1212 16th Avenue South, span a combined 1.06 acres and currently house small office and residential structures.

This latest transaction follows TMEC Nashville’s April acquisition of Edgehill Village, a prominent development near Music Row that includes popular destinations such as Barcelona Wine Bar, Old Glory, and Jack Brown’s. That $50 million purchase encompassed nearly 60,000 square feet of retail space and a 0.62-acre parking lot, offering room for future development.

The seller of the six new parcels was EVI Holdings LLC, an entity linked to Nashville-based Equitable Property Company. Public records show EVI Holdings originally acquired the properties in separate deals between 2016 and 2017 for a total of $6.59 million.

While little is publicly known about TMEC Nashville, Simon Kerr of French King Fine Properties, who brokered the Edgehill Village deal, previously told the Nashville Business Journal that the group is deeply interested in Nashville’s music culture. Kerr noted the buyers intended to restore and invest in improvements to Edgehill Village.

TMEC Nashville has not yet announced plans for the newly purchased properties.
