Williamson County, TN – A high school football coach and two other men were arrested on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, during a prostitution sting aimed at individuals seeking minors. Detectives from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) set up the operation by posting advertisements on adult escort websites, where they interacted with suspects posing as minors.
Herman (Jay) Graham III, 50, the head football coach at Centennial High School, was charged with patronizing prostitution with a minor. According to police reports, Graham allegedly responded to an advertisement and agreed to pay $120 for sexual services from someone he believed to be a 16-year-old. He was arrested after arriving at a prearranged hotel room and handing an undercover officer the agreed amount.
Graham, a former running back at the University of Tennessee and a seasoned football coach, has held various positions throughout his career. He played professionally for the Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and the Montreal Alouettes before transitioning to coaching. His coaching resume includes stints at notable programs such as the University of Alabama, where he served as the special teams coordinator and tight ends coach.
The TBI has confirmed that two additional men were also apprehended during the undercover operation, although details regarding their identities or charges have yet to be disclosed.
As of now, Williamson County Schools has not issued a statement regarding Graham’s arrest, leaving many in the community shocked and seeking answers. Graham’s extensive coaching history, which includes multiple roles at various universities, raises questions about the impact of this incident on the school’s football program and the broader community.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward to the TBI.
