Rep. David Kustoff announces re-election campaign for Congress

West Tennessee Republican Congressman David Kustoff is running for re-election in 2026.
The Memphis native and White Station High School Alum is currently serving his fifth term representing the 8th District of Tennessee. He previously served as the U.S. Attorney in Memphis. President Trump released a statement on social media following the re-election announcement.

“As a former Criminal Prosecutor, David knows the Wisdom and Courage required to uphold our Constitution and ensure LAW AND ORDER. David Kustoff has my complete and total endorsement for re-election-HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN,” Trump posted on his Truth Social media site.

Trump’s endorsement of Kustoff comes just one day after his endorsements of other Tennessee GOP members of Congress

Except for Andy Ogles in Middle Tennessee, none of the GOP Congressmen are facing any significant challenge in 2026.
