A huge early morning pro-Trump crowd turned out at Edley’s Barbecue in Goodlettsville, Thursday morning, to greet Fox and Friends roaming morning Show host Steve Doocy.
U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn visited with him and shared some of the high points of the Big Beautiful Bill with Doocy and the crowd as she welcomed him to Tennessee and Trump Country.
“We passed the largest tax cut in history, made it permanent and took care of small businesses, like Edley’s, because we want to see small businesses like Edley’s continue to grow,” Blackburn told the Fox and Friends morning audience.
Edley’s currently has 11 locations throughout the South.
Will Newman, founder and CEO of Edley’s, schooled Doocy on their development of the unique taste of Nashville-style BBQ that blends some of the heat of Nashville “hot chicken” with the sweet taste of traditional Southern barbecue sauce.

Doocy sampled a big bite of the brisket, proclaiming it “excellent”, and declaring that it was “not too spicy.”
Country music star Tracy Lawrence added to the Nashville flavor of the breakfast.

One Trump hat-wearing fan in the audience quipped: “We’re just here to Make America Hungry Again!”
