State Representative Johnny Garrett from Sumner County announced he raised over $725,000 for his congressional campaign during the third quarter of 2025.
Garrett, who is running for Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District, has over $700,000 of cash on hand going into the end of this year, according to his campaign.
More than 1,800 individuals have donated to Garrett, his campaign also noted.
Garett’s campaign has not yet filed its campaign finance report with the Federal Election Commission.
Garret said he is “grateful” for the support he has received in the state’s 6th Congressional District.
Since launching his campaign in July, the congressional candidate stated he has “traveled across the district to conservatives who are ready for a proven fighter in Washington to stand shoulder to shoulder with President Trump.”
“I’m battle-tested and ready to win,” he said.
Garrett noted he is proud of the accomplishments he has achieved in the Tennessee General Assembly.
Garrett said Tennessee has “shown” the rest of America what “real conservative leadership looks like.”
‘I’m ready to bring a little Tennessee grit to DC. Thank you to everyone who has stood with us from the start. With your support, we will keep TN-06 RED!” he added.
Former Congressman Van Hilleary, who has recently served as Congressman John Rose’s Chief of Staff is running in the 6th Congressional District GOP primary. Rose is now running for governor.
