In-N-Out Burger Expands Tennessee Footprint With $30 Million Facility Purchase in Wilson County

WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. — In-N-Out Burger has purchased an industrial property in Wilson County for $30.15 million, according to Wilson County Property Assessor records and a report from the Nashville Business Journal. County officials confirmed the California-based fast-food chain plans to use the site as a “regional hub,” The Tennessean first reported.

The purchase marks another major step in In-N-Out’s ongoing expansion across Tennessee, following its 2023 announcement of a $125.5 million investment to establish an eastern headquarters in Franklin.

The newly acquired property is located in the Speedway Industrial Park at 1280 Richard Petty Way, encompassing more than 154,000 square feet of warehouse space on a 19-acre site. County officials said the facility will support distribution and logistics operations for the company’s future restaurant locations throughout the region.

In-N-Out’s Franklin headquarters, currently under development at 1948 Double-Double Drive, is expected to open next year and employ about 275 people. The company received a $2.75 million state jobs grant and nearly $1.9 million in combined property tax incentives from the City of Franklin and Williamson County to support the project.

Company President Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson has confirmed plans to relocate to Tennessee as part of the expansion. She also noted that the burger chain is evaluating up to 35 potential restaurant locations statewide, including sites in Franklin, Goodlettsville, Antioch, and Lebanon in Wilson County.
