The fight to obtain full disclosure of the details contained in the Covenant School Manifesto continues today in Nashville.
Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA) Executive Director John Harris will appear before the Tennessee Court of Appeals as one of the attorneys representing TFA and Judicial Watch as they seek to gain public access to the records possessed by Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, including writings and drawings by the shooter, who was killed by police during her shooting rampage at Nashville Covenant School. .
Covenant and attorneys claiming to represent the families, including the shooter’s family, want to keep these records from public access and review permanently.
Many of the Covenant Shooter’s records have already been made available under federal law by the FBI in its “Vault”. Available for review HERE.
On March 27, 2023, the mass shooting occurred at the private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, when a former student killed three children and three adults. The shooter was killed by police on the scene. The by Nashville police investigation concluded that the attacker was motivated by a desire for notoriety and planned the attack for years.
Nevertheless, the documents related to the shooters motivation have been held from public review for years by the parents of the shooter who claim they are protected based on copyright rights.
