BREAKING: Trump Hosting Tele-Town Hall for Matt Van Epps Monday Afternoon

As the GOP Primary in the special election for Congress in the 7th congressional district races to a conclusion tomorrow, Matt Van Epps announces a tele-town hall with President Donald Trump at 5:30 Monday.

Trump endorsed Van Epps on Friday. Nevertheless, the Trump endorsement has produced some pushback among conservative voters in the district. And Jody Barrett continues to campaign and focus on his own endorsements from John Rich and General Mike Flynn. Barrett also continues to tout his endorsement from Congressman Green’s ex-wife Camie.

Meanwhile, the Williamson County Republican Party is seeking to spur some vote to turnout Tuesday by pointing out that putting locations across the county will be open tomorrow. Early voting in this special election has been particularly anemic through the end of early voting last Thursday.

The general election is December 2.
