Knoxville-based MAGA Maids makes no secret of their patriotism and unabashed support for President Donald J. Trump. They promise to clean with the same dedicated and focused approach Trump has brought to “cleaning the swamp” in Washington. And they don’t need House or Senate approval to get their job done.
Beau and Bailey Broussard launched their America First MAGA Maids business in Knoxville in January 2025 with their tongues firmly planted in cheek but knowing that standing out in the competitive house and office cleaning business was a must.
“We got sick and tired of hearing people say Americans are lazy and won’t work. We are proving that the work ethic of America, including a life of effort and service, is still in our DNA.”
MAGA Maids backs that up by assuring customers that the hard work of cleaning a home or business they provide is done exclusively by employees who are verified as legal workers. “It costs a bit more to hire those who can meet the demands of quality, integrity, and ethics that we seek, but our customers know it is worth it and our employees embrace it,” Beau acknowledges.
Beau also pointed out that when he and Bailey decided to launch a cleaning business, they discovered that it’s hard to start a cleaning company and find a name that’s not already taken. “MAGA Maids not only expresses our patriotic political ideology, but also the humor and creativity that we bring to our other businesses and everyday life,” Beau says.
“We decided to be bold with embracing the name of our company,” Beau explains, “and to show our kids that speaking up and standing up for what you believe is important and worth doing, even if you may attract criticism.”
For now, the company is serving the Knoxville-area only, but there are plans to expand with franchising in the near future. “We may expand to Middle Tennessee first, but we specifically intend to target ‘blue’ cities down the line,” Beau points out. “First, because where do we see a need for deep cleaning more than those locations,” Beau laughs. “But there are also a lot of red-blooded and ‘red thinking’ Americans in those spots that we think will flock to doing business with our brand. Plus, when customers initially leery of the brand experience the quality and commitment we bring to the job we may open some minds, in addition to opening their wallets.”
Eventually, Beau and Bailey foresee expanding the brand to include high quality approved cleaning products and related services. “We have both been involved in a lot of entrepreneurial businesses, so we understand the value of a strong, dependable and quality brand that goes beyond marketing,” he explains.
What about after Trump? “We are building MAGA Maids to stand the test of time and beyond a term in office,” Beau notes. But we would love to clean the White House, or maybe start with Mar-a-Lago, he admits.
MAGA Maids owners Beau and Bailey have been married 18 years. They moved to Knoxville with their three children, Pierce, Reagan (yes, she is named after President Reagan and shares his birthday), and Olivia, in 2023 when Beau graduated from the James B Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. That’s right, Beau is DOCTOR Beau.
Dr. Beau Broussard was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is a lifelong fan of the LSU Tigers. He grew up all over the southeast but spent his formative years in upstate South Carolina where he graduated from high school. After graduation, Beau went to film school in Orlando, Florida. Eventually, he returned home to South Carolina and ran into an old high school friend, Bailey. They married a few years later. After many years of marriage, running a BBQ restaurant, and raising three kids, Beau went back to school and graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry in 2018.
Beau took a year to volunteer in his community and spend time with his family before starting dental school in 2019 which eventually led to moving the family to Knoxville and starting his career in the practice of dental medicine.
Bailey is a former school teacher who now works as a bookkeeper for a local school and church and is a serial entrepreneur herself. After shepherding a family of three very active kids, managing a growing business is a piece of cake for Bailey.
MAGA Maids offers several cleaning packages, from America First Clean (basic home or office routine service), to the Drain the Swamp package (deep cleaning), or the Inauguration Clean (for those moving in or out of a home or business). They proudly proclaim that part of their mission is to “make America clean again.” One mop at a time.
