Allegiant Air is expanding its roster of nonstop routes this fall with a new addition linking Nashville International Airport (BNA) directly to Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF) in Alabama.
The route marks one of seven new nonstop connections across the U.S. — part of Allegiant Travel Company’s plan to serve 12 cities and deepen its presence in popular leisure markets this coming November.
Route Details:
Tickets must be booked by July 30, 2025 for travel valid through February 10, 2026
Service begins on November 21, 2025
One‑way fares start as low as $49 — based on limited introductory availability.
This new route reinforces Allegiant’s signature leisure‑focused model, emphasizing all‑nonstop flights to reduce travel time and simplify planning for vacationers. Allegiant’s broader expansion includes routes from Nashville and other smaller cities into Florida vacation destinations like Fort Myers, Sarasota/Bradenton, and Punta Gorda, as well as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Iowa. In total, seven routes connecting 12 cities will debut this fall.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the move underscores the airline’s focus on connecting underserved regions with affordable nonstop service: “We’re providing travelers nonstop access to sunny destinations, meaning they spend less time at the airport and more time on vacation.”
Why It Matters for Travelers from Nashville
The seasonal schedule coincides with peak winter travel demand when many are chasing warm weather.
Gulf Shores, AL is emerging as an attractive beach destination—with pristine Gulf Coast beaches and family‑friendly attractions.
Allegiant’s low introductory fares and nonstop convenience may appeal to Nashville residents seeking budget‑friendly coastal getaways.
The route from Nashville to Gulf Shores opens November 21, 2025, with fares starting at $49 for those booking early — a compelling option for Tennesseans alike seeking a sandy escape without a transfer.
