The Davidson County Republican Party is hosting a dinner with the Republican candidates running in the special election for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.
The dinner will be held at Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom in Nashville on Friday, Sept. 19.
A cash bar will be available beginning at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the candidate forum will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Those who wish to attend the event to meet the candidates and forgo dinner can purchase Event Only tickets. Seating for Event Only ticket holders will begin at 6:45 p.m.
The event is being held in partnership with Nashville Young Republicans and Nashville Republican Women. All proceeds generated by the ticketed candidate forum will go to “support the growth of the Republican Party in Nashville.”
At least 8 of the eleven Republican candidates that will be on the October 7 primary ballot are expected to participate in the forum. TriStar Daily Publisher Steve Gill will be the moderator.

Early voting for the October 7 special primary election will run from September 17 through October 2.
The final day for voters in the 7th District to request an absentee ballot for the special primary election is September 27.
